YBHK Net for entrepreneurs launched
The brand new YBHK net was launched yesterday, with The Hon Jeffrey Lam,
SBS, JP, as Guest of Honour. The initiative comes from the young entrepreneurs of the Federation's Youth Business Hong Kong (YBHK) which offers promising start-ups seed funds and mentors. Mr Joe Ngai, Partner, McKinsey & Co HK, was present as a representative of YBHK mentors, and Mr Felix Chung, of the highly successful recycling company, Ecosage, as Chairman of network. The goal is to connect young entrepreneurs, promoting a strong culture between them for the sake of a dynamic economy.

The 18-40 year-old businesspeople who are the network's 150 founding members from YBHK seek greater global impact and increasingly fluid exchange with mainland China and beyond. The nature of their businesses is already diverse, including tutorial and nanny services, recycling, IT, baby products, fashion, hairdressing and beauty care. Over time, YBHK will build closer connections with sister organization Youth Business China, especially online, with social media enabling discussion groups and forums.

For more information about YBHK please contact Miranda Wong, tel 3113 7999.
